Sago pearls Kheer with mango
Sago pearls-1/2 cup
Milk -2 2 cups.
Brown sugar-1/2 cup.
Cardamom -3-4 pods powdered.
Nuts and raisins to garnish.
Mango peeled and puréed and kept in the refrigerator to cool.
For the sago Kheer.
In a heavy bottomed pan boil milk and cook the washed sago till they are cooked and become translucent.
Now add saffron,sugar and cardamom powder and cook for another 5 minutes.
Transfer to a bowl .
Garnish with nuts and raisins and allow to cool.
Refrigerate it until it’s chilled and serve it in cups and add the mango purée on the top.
Tastes yummy and refreshing in the hot weather!
