Kachaalu sabzi


Kachaloo(Taro root)1/2 cup(chopped.

Potato-1/2 cup chopped.

Tamarind and dates chutney- 3 tbsp

Green chutney-2 tbsp

Lemon juice- 2 tsp

Chili powder- 1/2 tsp

Chat masala-1 pinch

Cumin powder- less than 1/4 spn

Chopped coriander leaves- 1/2 handful

Salt to taste

Black salt- 1 pinch

Sev for garnishing.


Peel and Cut the kachaloos and potatoes into bite sized pieces and boil them for 3 mins. Strain and add salt and keep aside.

In a pan take some oil and roast the strained kachaloos and potatoes until they are well cooked and roasted.

In a bowl add all the remaining ingredients except the tamarind chutney, green chutney and coriander leaves and finely cut green chillies.
