Mumbai Chapati Sandwich

Ingredients:

5 chapati’s (left over)

Butter- 1 table spoon

Chaat masala-1 t spn

Capsicum-1/2 piece each of coloured peppers

Onion-1 fine chopped

1 boiled and sliced potatoes

1 tomato sliced

Grated cheese( preferably Mozarella)as per preference.

For the green chutney:

Hung curds-1/4 cup

2 green chillies

1 handful coriander leaves

Ginger-1/2 inch over

Garlic-2 cloves.

1/4 spn cumin seeds.

Salt to taste.

Grind to paste and keep aside.

Method:

Apply butter over each roti and take the first roti, apply a spoon of chutney and arrange the potato slices over the chapati.

Now keep the second roti over it.

Apply chutney and arrange the onions over it and then the next layer of chapati followed by the chutney tomatoes.

Then the next chapati followed by chutney and then capsicum and top it with grated cheese and then the last layer of chapati.

Lightly press the layered chapati’s and roast it on low flame on both the sides.

Put off the flame and let it cook for a min as it turns crisp.

Slice the sandwich and 😊
