Jowar Carrots Parathas:


Carrots-2 small grated

Green chillies-2 finely chopped

Besan-2 tablespoons

Cumin powder-2

spoons(coarsely ground)

Dhania powder-1 tspn(coarsely ground)

Dhania leaves-1 handful chopped.

Oil-1 table spoon

Water-1/2 cup.(warm)

Salt as per taste


In a pan heat oil and then add in the g chillies, dhania and jeera powder.

Mix well and then add the grated carrots.

Stir fry for three minutes and put off the flame.

Mix all the ingredients and knead to a soft dough.

Let the dough rest for about 20 mins.

Divide them into small balls and with the help of the fingers and palms shape them into parathas as in rotis.

Follow the same procedure as in rotis and using little ghee roast the parathas on a pan.
