- Semolina -1 small cup
- Brown sugar-3/4 cup
- Nuts and raisins-1 table spoon
- Dry figs/Anjeer-4 sliced
- Apricots-4 sliced
- Warm water-2 1/2 cups.
- Cardamom powder- as per taste.
- Ghee-1/4 cup.
Method:
- In a pan roast the suji in ghee and as it lets out an aroma add in the dry fruits and roast for another 3-4 minutes.
- Now add the warm water and mix well. Add the cardamom powder and the sugar and mix well and cook on low heat for another 2-4 minutes. The halwa or sheera is now ready.
- Goes well with puris.
